Allaine Stricklen has been practicing yoga for over forty years, and as a teacher she has studied with incredible teachers all over the world. She is a certified yoga therapist by IAYT (the International. Association of Yoga Therapists), as well as a Yoga Alliance certified “Master Yoga Instructor.” She believes that yoga is for every body and everybody, and her mission is to help her students recognize and release old patterns that do not serve a higher purpose.
Allaine blends her extensive knowledge of Iyengar and Restorative Yoga into well-rounded, nurturing classes. Allaine is a Certified Scoliosis Specialist and has studied with yoga teacher Elise Browning-Miller, a Senior Iyengar yoga teacher. Allaine offers traditional teachings which address each person’s individualneeds with a joyous and open heart. Allaine’s presence will immediately make you feel welcome and at ease. She created her own unique style of Yoga, called “Gentle Therapeutics Yoga which is a safe and detailed method using various props to restore the body’s balance and vitality. Allaine leads meditation sessions, workshops, retreats and teacher training programs all over the world. She helps you discover your full potential to live a long, abundant and healthy life.
After a traumatic diagnosis of a brain tumor, Allaine used her forty years of meditation and yoga experience into her miraculous recuperation. In fact, this experience propelled her to launch a new business venture that guides people to health following a medical procedure. Her new company, Helping Hands + Hearts,was officially launched on her birthday 4.11.22. She is an inspirational leader who will make her mark in the health care community with her recuperative recovery programs that support people both pre and post post surgical and medical procedures. By combining a life time of yoga and wellness knowledge she aims to revolutionize the industrial medical complex and put the CARE back into the health care system.
